As you can already tell from the heading, this is going to be as playful as it gets! Take your serious self to your ancestors please because this might not be for you. Chances are high that you might be offended by how silly and unserious this will get. This article will try to be as light hearted as possible. Matter of fact life should never even be as serious as we make it. Forgive me, I’m going through something I myself don’t understand, hence my number one problem solver of laying back and taking life as a joke. You should try it too…don’t think too much about it, it makes sense.
Anyhoo today I would love to look over some of the kinds of logos that our favorite companies use to steal our hearts and souls. Of course as I earlier warned, this is a much laid back piece of information and that’s why I didn’t say types but rather kinds
. Yes, they’re different. You’ll get the hang of it later in life. Doing my research about the types of logos and boy did that take me back to my days of crying during Economics lessons and exams! Too many big scary words, friend I couldn’t handle, that space is not for me. So I woke up today and chose chill vibes, because why not? It just sounds like a typical day under the Kampala sun to me. So, shall we?
It doesn’t come as a surprise that this is the first on the list because c’mon? Have you not been following? So heneway this logo is playful. It’s all in the name. If you want synonyms of playful, ask Google or Siri. My brain dictionary is under renovation. Nah I’m kidding…I got you. It’s basically exuberant and high spirited; you can see that from how colorful such logos are. They are usually bright and bold and WHEW that is the energy I feed off of! There’s no “serious” in my vocabulary please! *whips her hair*
Prominent companies with this kind of logo are Google, Flying Pig, Firefly Behavior Services, Whirl and Yahoo among a million more others I can’t remember right now.
This is the kind of logo that takes you back to your childhood years and kinda reminds you that you actually do have a 7 year old still alive in you! If your company is one with a fun-factor, look no further! This is the logo for you.
This is my favorite kind of logo and I don’t think that’s going to change any time soon.
Drastic changes kinda make my day. See how we came from the most frivolous part of the blog to the exact opposite. I don’t know why but this reminds me of that famous Hollywood toxic couple, Harley Quinn and The Joker. Because Harley Quinn in this case is the playful logo and The Joker is definitely the aggressive one because the levels of abuse he put her through were something else. Sorry this got a little dark. *the writer contemplates on the reason why Hollywood romanticizes toxic problematic relationships*
So of course this is an aggressive logo, you don’t get the vibe of jokes and sunshine from this one. Some of them actually look like gothic illustrations and others look borderline evil and cultist! Yeah people know how to push the boundaries of this business thing.
Some companies go with this logo to convey the message that they mean business while others just want to show how dark, enigmatic and mysterious they are. Their favorite colors are definitely dark shades so don’t get shocked when your eyes hurt while looking out the window immediately after looking at one of these. I assume this is what some tattoo parlors go for when choosing a logo.
Companies with such logos include Warrior Fit, Recluse Labs, Crucible Strategy and Underground Tuning. Of course there’s like a hundred others but Google can help you with those.
If you want to put a picture to the word inspiration, you look at these logos. It might not be easy to pick up on the inspiration in such a logo because not even knew what inspiration looked like till I read for this article.
To easily identify them, you’ll definitely pick up on hints of creativity, wittiness and depth. Wikipedia says such logos have “creative visual puns”. Some of them could have images of humans smoldering. Remember how Dwayne Johnson swept some of the females and males off their feet by smoldering in Jumanji? Yeah that’s the power smolder I’m talking about. Some inspired logos also have a relaxed vibe to them…not necessarily playful but just laidback.
If you still don’t get the idea, check out the logos of NASA, Pepsi, NBC, Canon, Rough Monk Outdoors and Apple.
Ridiculous, I know, but hear me out! This is actually a legitimate kind of logo. And just like the name describes, that’s exactly what he logo is. I can’t think of a better name for it. This kind of logo is basically simple. It doesn’t have much detail to it. Such logos do give off messages at times though, but I applaud them for doing it with so much simplicity…short and sweet. They also tend to have lots of space on their layout.
Some empty logos may look like they’re missing out on something, they may look incomplete and look like rough sketches for a final result but do not be fooled. They are what the company may have settled for.
A great and famous example is the Nike swoosh, my personal favorite athlete brand, even though I may own like one item by Nike it still shows my allegiance to them so quit judging me. The Walmart logo and Empty Nest Stationary logo are other empty ones that’ll help you get the idea.
So yes my lovelies…another chance for me to say “that’s basically it” and “use that information how you want”!
